 Most service organization including hotels, travel agencies, customer services create and maintain a customer information/relationship database.  While some of the fields are unique to the organization the rest is pretty much common across all.  Name, company, designation, contact no etc.

What if you could use your third party information for all such purposes.  for e.g. once you have a API code from linkedin.com you could give this to your service provider and all your details could get updated the minute you update your social networking site.

could save a lot of time & effort and help to ensure your personal information was consistent across multiple channels.
